The video "Peripheryart" from the project "Am-Bah" explores how Israeli cultural circles perceive the periphery. The seemingly pluralistic nature of the cultural and artistic community, along with projects aimed at "connecting with the people," mask exploitation, hypocrisy, and condescension. These initiatives are often driven by intentional borrowing, orientalism, fetishization, and blind admiration (justified as it may be) of imagery.

The video work "PeripheryArt" stems from my encounters with curators – meetings I initiated due to my feelings towards the art world and the questions that arose for me as an artist and art student. I have attended numerous gallery talks and, of course, approach this from the perspective of someone living in the periphery.

In the video, I create a paraphrase of transcripts from conversations with curators working with and within the periphery. These texts evoked both antagonism and a sense of identification within me.
