The work "Am-Bah 0.2" is a direct continuation of the themes I explored in my first project under this name.

It was created under the curatorial guidance of Tali Kayam, with the intention of presenting it in the exhibition "Manners and Etiquette" (Edmond de Rothschild Center), alongside two of my previous works: the video piece "PeripherArt" and the print piece "Sticker Sheet for the Curator."

For this project, I used past photographs I had taken of my parents' two workplaces – both of whom work in the food industry in the periphery.

I edited the photographs and added texts that were said to me by curators, which were drawn from my video work "PeripherArt."
To finish, I signed them digitally with my Alter-ego name from the video.

This work satirically mimics stereotypical perceptions of central art institutions engaging with the periphery. It highlights the exoticization and romanticization often displayed by them, while simultaneously reflecting on their subconscious sense of superiority. This tension is expressed through humorous and absurd gestures, challenging both the curators and the audience to confront their perceptions of the periphery.

To further challenge visitors and disrupt the sanctity of the gallery's exhibition space, I displayed the printed photographs as postcards that passersby could take home as a sort of "souvenir" – similar to those handed out at fairs. Additionally, sticker sheets and car decals were made available for visitors to take.
